Overview
Under supervision, performs Pilot Plant duties with the application of standard procedures. Performs similar or related duties as required.
Major Position Responsibilities
Maintain a mindset that Safety is of the upmost importance for yourself as well as your coworkers.
Responsible for proper execution of experiments and processing steps in accordance with standard methods and
procedures.
Assembles and maintains technical data in an orderly manner, accompanied by explicit and accurate descriptions of
results and observations.
Assembles, operates and dismantles test and associated Pilot Plant equipment and possesses the ability to calibrate and
recognize proper functioning of all equipment.
Carries out all assignments upon request of Supervisor or Lead Technician in an efficient, safe, and expedient manner
with a minimum amount of supervision.
Responsible for maintaining a neat, clean, and safe operating area.
Responsible for executing duties in a safe manner and abiding by all procedures, rules, regulations, etc., with due
consideration of fellow employees and their relationships.
Collects, tabulates, and reports processing and analytical data to R&D Engineers.
Responsible for the upkeep of the Magazines and ensure that limits are never exceeded.
Responsible for proper care of explosive scrap including packing and locating for pickup.
Must be able to work overtime and shift work as required.
Basic Qualifications
High School Graduate with 2+ years Propellant Process experience.
