Compudopt is a national non-profit organization that aims to provide technology access and education to under-resourced youth and their communities. Compudopt we are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Development Coordinator. This role will be a key member of the development team, providing crucial support to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of fundraising and donor engagement initiatives. This role involves managing databases, handling communications, and ensuring the smooth coordination of development activities. This role is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the continental US.

Major Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain and update the donor management database with accurate and current donor information.
- Generate reports and queries to support fundraising efforts and donor analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality, implementing best practices for database management.
- Process donations and gifts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Generate acknowledgment letters and receipts for donors.
- Work closely with finance to reconcile donation records.
- Draft and edit fundraising and donor-related correspondence, including thank-you letters and emails.
- Coordinate with the marketing and communications team to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Respond to donor inquiries and provide necessary information.
- Assist in the administration of fundraising events, including logistics and coordination.
- Handle event-related administrative tasks such as guest list management, RSVP tracking, and follow-up communication.
- Support the grant application process by organizing documentation and assisting in proposal development.
- Maintain a comprehensive grants calendar, tracking deadlines and requirements.
- Assist with grant reporting and compliance activities.
- Work collaboratively with the development team, program staff, and other departments to gather information and ensure seamless coordination.
- Attend team meetings and provide administrative support for development-related projects.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in nonprofit setting.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree or relevant professional certification preferred.
- Experience with donor management systems like Bloomerang preferred.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Salary is one component of Compudopt’s total compensation package, which also includes:
