- Organize and assist with fundraising efforts, events, and strategies
- Maintain donor databases, data entry, website, and social media
- Record donations on an ongoing basis in the donor database, and generate acknowledgments and thank you letters
- Maintain relationships with donors, clients, and other stateholders
- Track project details and expenses
- Assist with the implementation of various Development plans including annual appeals, major donors, grants, corporate and individual appeals, social media, research, tracking, etc.
- Attend networking events with the Development team to increase professional network, refine relationship management skills, and enhance Holly Hill’s outreach and capacity.
- Provide clerical, administrative and operational support, including the preparation of reports, filing, copying, sorting, mailing, etc.
- Work with committees and Development team in establishing and adhering to event budgets, assist with event preparation and attend events to assist in set up, implementation, and bump-out
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited educational institution
- Identifies, develops, and fosters meaningful relationships with individuals and corporations from all walks of life and in various environments.
- Relationship-driven community development professional.
- Ability to network in the community and identify individual and corporate major gift prospects.
- Persuasive presenter. Tells compelling stories that appeal to donors on an emotional level and illustrates how the donor can help make a difference.
- Superb written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills. Creative, self-starter attitude.
- Ability to work occasional evening and weekends.
- Provide a positive professional example.
