Dev Ops System Administrator- Clearance TS/SCI with Full-scope poly

Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Location: Annapolis, Junction Maryland

We are supporting a client with identifying a System Administrator II. This is a full-time position. 
This role requires a government clearance. To be considered you must be a US Citizen.

Job Responsibilities

• Hands on experience manages IT system infrastructure and assist with day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• This role will provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 ( Help Desk Escalations)
• Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. 
• Hands on experience with UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, and configuring network components 

Core Skills

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems

• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems

• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems

• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.

• Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers

• Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning

• Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process

Minimum Requirements:

• OR Five (5-10) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Scripting: Java, Bash or Python ( one of the three skills)

Knowledgeable in the following skills:

• Configuration: Ansible/Puppet/Salt
• Containerization: Docker or Kubernetes
• Monitoring: Nagios/Splunk (configuration)
