We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team on a 3-6 month contract-to-hire basis. In this role, you will provide essential support to end users within a Windows 10 environment, focusing on desktop-related issues, hardware/software support, and ensuring a smooth IT experience for all employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support for Windows workstations, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop systems.

  • Support end users with Office 365 applications, including but not limited to Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Assist in the integration and troubleshooting of Office 365-related issues.

  • Manage and troubleshoot printer-related issues.

  • Ensure printers are configured correctly and address printing concerns promptly.

  • Support office moves by coordinating the relocation of desktop equipment.

  • Ensure seamless transition of IT resources during office relocations.

  • Provide daily Desktop Support for users walking in and out of the office.

  • Address user inquiries and issues promptly to minimize downtime.

  • Utilize manufacturing experience to understand and support work processes specific to the industry.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address IT needs in their operational context.

  • Assist end users with various applications, including Zoom, 8x8 voice phone, and other business-critical tools.

  • Troubleshoot application-related issues to ensure optimal user experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Desktop Support within a Windows 10 environment.

  • Familiarity with Office 365 applications and collaboration tools, particularly Teams.

  • Knowledge of printer configuration and troubleshooting.

  • Experience in providing support for voice phone systems (e.g., 8x8).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
