Job Description
We have an immediate long-term contract opportunity with one of our key clients for a position of Desktop Support Technician, to work in Allentown, PA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support to end-users for IT-related issues and challenges.
- Ensure the functionality and performance of Windows 7 and 10 operating systems.
- Troubleshoot Windows 7 and 10 operating systems to resolve user-reported issues.
- Perform hardware and software installations, configurations, and upgrades as needed.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues related to PCs, laptops, printers, handheld devices, and cell phones.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or technical training is a plus.
- Extensive years of experience in providing Desktop Support and technical assistance to end-users.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows 7 and 10 operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of PCs, laptops, printers, handheld devices, and cell phones.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
