What You Will be Doing:
As a key member of our dynamic team, you'll provide essential IT support services to both the Lehi office and remote users. This hands-on role, based in our Lehi, UT office, involves technical assignments supporting end-user computing hardware and software. You'll play a vital role in ensuring seamless IT support across our headquarters, collaborating with various departments and contractors to maintain a robust IT infrastructure.
Scope of Work:
- Provide desk-side and remote user support, promptly addressing support and request tickets.
- Install, configure, and manage computer hardware and software for both Mac and Windows platforms.
- Train and assist staff in utilizing software, equipment, and IT systems.
- Offer technical support for conference rooms and office spaces.
- Collaborate with IT team members to troubleshoot and escalate complex technical issues.
- Assist with user account management, including password resets and access permissions in Google Workspace.
- Perform regular system updates and maintain documentation of IT assets.
- Conduct hardware and software inventory management.
- Manage software licenses for productivity tools such as Adobe, Docusign, and MS Office apps.
- Ensure data security and confidentiality by implementing and enforcing security policies.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and coordinate repairs.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT support.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT support or a related role.
- Excellent track record in customer service.
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace and collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with macOS and Windows operating systems.
- Proficiency in Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Remote Support Tools.
- Experience in imaging laptops and working with related tools.
- Jumpcloud administrator experience is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are advantageous.
