Provide fast and valuable technical assistance on computer systems while answering queries on technical issues and offering advice to solve them.
What will you do?
- Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance
- Performing local/remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by the customer
- Develop SOPs based on the management/engineering team's request.
- Develop training manuals, and user guides for IT solutions
- Improve ticket handling efficiency
- Install, modify, repair, and clean up computer hardware and software.
- Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software.
- Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problems, and determines and implements solutions.
- Provide hardware/software support services to onsite clients, including break/fix
- Implement virus detection and eradication procedures
- Diagnose end-user system failures and implement repair solutions
- Diagnose printer and other peripheral devise failures and implement repair solutions
- Troubleshoot network devices in order to ensure connectivity from the PC to the Network
Qualifications
An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skill, and/or ability.
- Tech-savvy with working knowledge of computer software and hardware
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
- Good Logic / Analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
- Experience troubleshooting and replacing hardware on PCs
- Experience using Active Directory
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience troubleshooting wireless connectivity issues
- Quality Customer Service skills
- VPN experience.
- Experience with essential hardware printer support
Qualifications
- BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant field
- CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ and/or Server+ are/is a plus
- 3+ years of corporate desk-side support experience with a strong emphasis on supporting Microsoft OfficeSuite
