Designer/Animator, Gaming

Partnering directly with media giants such as Disney, Netflix, Amazon, Apple, and Warner Media as well as brands like Lexus and Playstation -- MOCEAN is recognized for creating the kind of strikingly original campaigns that energize audiences and turning them into consumers.
The Designer/Animator will work on MOCEAN’s award-winning social team, 02. The Designer/Animator will contribute to crafting and conceptualizing campaigns and content for some of the most interesting brands while displaying kindness, compassion and empathy, because you love the magic of collaboration.       

Responsibilities      

• Use and create on social media daily
• Make relevant content across all platforms
• Create attractive and effective designs with strong composition in a wide range of styles
• Bring creativity when conceptualizing and contributing to content creation
• Animate typography and graphics in After Effects
• Assist in game capture

 Requirements / Preferences       

• Passion and knowledge of video games and gaming social media
• Familiarity with popular first-person shooter games
• Understanding of the importance and use of typography 
• Awareness of current trends and confidence in contributing to the entire creative process
• Design education OR equivalent relevant experience, all applicants will be asked to provide recent content examples from social media accounts
• Demonstrated passion, curiosity and experience in making creative content on social media platforms – Tweets, TikTok videos, Instagram visuals
• Proficient in the design programs from Adobe Creative Suite and eager to continue learning and evolving in other efficient and effective ways to make social first content
• Responsible, accountable, deeply passionate about personal interests and hobbies
• Animation skills using Adobe After Effects and other popular animation tool

 

Compensation + Benefits
Salary range: $32.00-40.00/Hour (Non-exempt)
The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including applicant’s qualifications, years of relevant experience and geographic location. Total compensation package will also include other elements, including paid time off, subsidized health insurance (medical, dental, vision) and 401(k) participation plus company match.
