Btween is a leading lifestyle brand that designs, sources, markets and sells high quality products in multiple kids segments. Btween is looking for a designer with ambition for growth, high level of aesthtic or eye for trend, and experience in the specific product categories.
Responsibilities
Design role with strong focus on product development. Works closely with all cross-functional partners to execute product intent and technical design details. Manage all components of product development to ensure product integrity in bulk production. Design and develop seasonal product based on thorough trend and competitive research and overall creative direction, with direction from Design Director.
Core Accountabilities:
- Executes and communicates technical packets to Technical Design team.
- Creates Bills of Materials for all products; and responsible for any updates required during the development cycle.
- Executes all design deadlines; systematic data- entry
- Assists in the management, development and approval of fabrics, trims and washes.
- Executes and maintains all line sheets and design visual references.
- Attends all cross-functional meetings and able to communicate/ problem solve product development issues.
Qualifications
Education/Experience Required:
- Apparel or fashion design degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of related product design and development experience.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and some experience with PLM programs
- High level of work ethic and integrity
- Adaptable to work pressures with a positive attitude.
- Extremely detail oriented and organized
- Strong communication skills
