In this role you will make assessment, site surveys, budgeting, design development of drawings and documentation.
Coordination of the installation of structured communications cable systems; to include:

• Data Cabling
• Fiber Optics
• Video Surveillance
• Access Control
• Intrusion Detection
• Audio/Visual
• Intercoms
• Paging Systems and more.

For this role you need Telecom/Data Infrastructure installation experience. Independent thinking and problem solving. A superior level of coordination, collaboration, time management, prioritization, professionalism, and awareness of the work of others.

Assist with building solid estimates for both labor and material; Devise value engineering and source material from most competitive distributors to win the bids. Assist with developing and completing project close-out documentation.
Attend ongoing manufacturer and briefings, seminars and training classes.

Will participate in with working closely with architects, MEP Engineering firms, construction Project Managers, general contractors, and other project team members to ensure the design meets the requirements of the entire project in adherence to applicable codes and industry standards.
Must be familiar with NEC/State codes as well as BICSI and TIA Standards, or be willing to learn.

• 5+ years Telecom/Data Infrastructure installation experience.

• Experience / knowledge of construction operations.

• Experience in one or more of the following is equally relevant: Corporate, High Rise/Mixed Use, Hospitals, Labs, Life Sciences.

• Team leadership skills

• Customer skills and communications skills

• BICSI certification preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• The ability to maintain professionalism in the face of deadlines; exhibit good listening, negotiation and problem solving skills; and to handle confidential information with discretion and trustworthiness;

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook and project as required.

• Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu.

• Ability to work independently.
