Designer - Mechanical

ISG is excited to bolster our team with a passionate Mechanical Designer. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be an ISG Employee Owner working collaboratively with your fellow employee owners, along with partnering with Mechanical Engineers to support the production of construction documents and blueprints for different building types. You will be working within Revit to create layout of mechanical systems within buildings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Design and draft HVAC / Plumbing systems using Revit.
• Work closely with and take direction from Mechanical Engineer.
• Produce and coordinate construction drawings with other disciplines.
• Field measure and document existing buildings.
• Be an accountable, eager, and creative employee owner!

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of professional design experience.
• Associates Degree in mechanical, architectural, or electrical design program.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and apply HVAC and plumbing design principles at a high level.
• Experience modeling commercial building projects using Revit.
• Possess an in-depth understanding of most building systems and trades.
• Knowledge of building codes, such as IMC, IPC, and FFC.
