We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Carpenter Foreman to join our team at Lakefront Building & Design. As a Carpenter Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in supervising and leading our field carpenters to ensure the successful and timely completion of construction projects. Responsibilities:
- Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding the production schedule and materials on site.
- Lead and inspect the work of field carpenters to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Update the Project Manager on timing so project schedules can be adjusted accordingly.
- Delegate tasks to field carpenters and inspire a zero-punch list mentality.
- Ensure work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
- Perform all carpentry duties required, including both rough and finish carpentry.
- Keep the job site & trailers organized, and stocked with tools and equipment, and maintain cleanliness.
- Assure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in residential remodeling or construction (+8 years).
- Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
- The ability to safely operate power tools and read blueprints.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, pouch, and basic tools.
- Clear and respectful communication skills with clients, trade partners, suppliers, and team members.
- Strong leadership and inspiration abilities.
- Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while representing the core values and goals of the company.
- Well-organized with multitasking abilities.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary at $36 - $42 per hour, commensurate with experience.
