Designer - Architectural/Structural

ISG is looking for an Architectural/Structural Designer to join our experienced architecture team to enhance our already strong capabilities. This role provides immense opportunities to learn and strengthen skills, lead, and mentor others with the development and design of our projects.

As an Architectural/Structural Designer, you would work out of our Waterloooffice location. ISG Waterloo is moving to our new home at the Riverfront Plaza where our new private patio will give us a front row seat to the Riverloop Amphitheater. The new office design focuses on a variety of collaboration areas, wellness facilities, a large conference room rentable by the community, and connection directly to the active public plaza, riverfront trail and amphitheater. It is also located directly adjacent to the premier local brewery, Single Speed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Assist, implement, and successfully execute project related responsibilities.
• Produce work using computer aided design/drafting hardware and software, such as Revit.
• Perform field measurements and document existing building elements.
• Produce and coordinate construction drawings with a multidisciplinary team.
• Be an accountable, eager, and creative employee owner!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates Degree in Architectural Technology or applicable experience.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and apply architectural design principles at a high level.
• Experience modeling commercial building projects using BIM and Revit.
• Knowledge of building codes, such as ADA and IBC.
• Able to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Demonstrated track record of successful past employment.
