We are seeking a professional Design Specialist to become an integral part of our team! You will work alongside an experienced DesignCo Project Manager with customers who are making product selections for their new construction or existing home. Your activities will center around coordinating design finishes of paint colors, flooring, custom stone countertops, lighting, window treatments, sinks and decorative plumbing fixtures - all within a beautiful design showroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strong customer relationships
- Discover the design goals of each client
- Make design recommendations for residential and commercial projects
- Coordinate your own design appointments for product selection meetings
Qualifications:
- Industry experience in interior finishes or textile products is an advantage.
- Possess interior design skills and an interest in selling fashion products
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
