We are looking for an experienced Admin with a proven history of success. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), a strong customer service background, and an analytical mind.
Job Description:
- Act as the contact person in the office for the Design Team for obtaining documents, contact information, and general project related information.
- Provide administrative support to the Design Team throughout the lifecycle of a project.
- Obtain required construction documents and files needed to produce plans from clients.
- Track jurisdiction specific requirements and provide that information to the team.
- Submit permit packages via online systems, fax, or in person, if necessary, including permit tracking and correlation.
- Prepare payment and track payments for permits and plan review.
- Work closely with the municipalities on the status of permits and ensure they are processed in a timely manner.
- Maintain all company files relating to plan review applications, approvals, and permits.
- Updating information throughout all internal systems during project duration.
- Transmit documents between parties to ensure current revisions and changes are available to all parties.
- Plot plans and documents for field use or plan review.
- Scan plans and documents for recordkeeping purposes.
- Able to handle multiple projects fluidly.
- May perform basic administrative and clerical functions, which may include filing, copying, binding reports, simple typing, answering phone calls etc.
Skills:
- Microsoft Office and general computer experience.
- Procore experience is a plus.
- Experience in the construction industry is preferred but not necessary.
- Pro-active communicator and problem-solver.
- Strong attention to detail with a track record for accuracy.
- Motivated self-starter.
- Team player capable of working effectively with the Design Team and other departments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
