• ResponsibilitiesResponsible for participating in relevant aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, constructions, testing, reviews, and demonstrations. Resolve database issues particularly databases in Oracle, Redis, Mongo, PL/SQL, Shell Scripts, PHP, Java Administer database, install, upgrade and patch databases, On call support for Production database, Backup, and recovery of data. Evaluate Database performance, debug code issue and provide fix for the issue. Backup Database, restore, import, export, RMAN, Commvault expertise. Develop and review software requirements, create design documents, write scripts, programs, package, test, configure, and deploy software. Develop and enhance software programs and data structures that meet business objectives. Review and create system, software, and functional design specifications

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• Education and Experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study and eight (8) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 6 years of related experience
• Work Experience. Four (4) years of experience must include: Oracle / SQL Plus / PL SQL; AWS; JAVA/Perl / PHP; Database Administration, Install, upgrade, patch, performance evaluation and fix; Shell scripting; Websphere Application Server; Eclipse IDE; Backup recovery using RMAN, export/import, DMS; Data validation and report generation; Data conflicts and resolution, Data reports, Data aggregation, Data integration; and Unit testing frameworks, including Junit and Jest

The US base salary range targeted for this job is listed in the compensation section below. Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions. Salary Range: $168,854 to $210,200 / year
