We seek a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Residential Design and Construction Assistant. Key Responsibilities:
- Update BuilderTrend (CRM) daily with project progress, including task updates, communication logs, and document uploads
- Guide homeowners in selecting fixtures and finishes for contracted kitchen and bath remodeling projects
- Establish a Selection Schedule with the Construction manager to ensure project materials are on hand promptly
- Work with homeowners in our showroom, vendor spaces and via online retailers to select fixtures and finishes
- Record selections, specifications and design conversations in BuilderTend (CRM)
- Prepare construction documentation
- Receive, login, organize, and inventory project and shop materials, ensuring accurate tracking and availability for construction activities
- Develop CAD Floor Plans/Elevations/Perspectives from concept sketches
- Prepare drawings, sketches, and renderings using design software
- Support project managers in administrative tasks such as organizing project documentation, preparing meeting materials, and tracking project progress daily in CRM
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to facilitate project coordination and execution
- Research products for client projects
- Maintain Product Library/Catalogs/Files
- Maintain Showroom Displays, Samples, Cleanliness
- Attend company meetings, take notes, and publish to company communication portals
- Assist in the coordination of showroom activities, including scheduling appointments, managing inventory, and providing support to clients during showroom visits.
- Process returns
- Maintain office supplies inventory, order replenishments as needed, and ensure marketing materials are organized and readily available for use in presentations and client meetings.
- Ability to Perform Light Physical Activity: Candidates should be capable of lifting up to 30 pounds and engaging in light physical tasks as needed during project site visits and showroom and warehouse activities
Qualifications:
- A degree in Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in residential design, construction, or related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Chief Architect, 2020
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
- Knowledge of residential construction methods and materials preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
