Our organization is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant with minimum of 1 year dermatology experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the providers, including assisting with patient care and performing administrative tasks such as prior authorizations.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for dermatology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity to work with a highly experienced team and make a real difference in the lives of our patients. We offer medical dermatology and aesthetic dermatology, but no Mohs surgery, at our office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dermatologists with patient care.
- Prepare patients for treatments and procedures.
- Entry of data into Nextech EMR for charting/documentation of visits.
- Assist with minor surgeries such as biopsies, shaves and microneedling.
- Provide patient education on skin health and maintenance.
- Clean exam rooms between patients.
- Room patients and do quick intake of reasons for visit.
- There are morning set up duties, and end of day closing duties; stock supplies, handouts, brochures, samples.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
