GOAL OF THE POSITION
The goal of the Deputy Director is to drive organizational scale that is sustainable and impactful.
THE ROLE
The Deputy Director will lead all internal operations to align organizational strategy with efficient and effective business processes across all departments. This role oversees all HR, finance, technology, communications, and general business functions.
The Deputy Director reports to our Executive Director and will lead our operations team to support all organizational, programmatic and fundraising priorities. Next Gen is in an exciting phase of growth and the Deputy Director will work alongside our Executive Director and Board Leadership to execute Next Gen’s market expansion strategy.
A SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE:
Experiences & Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of progressive professional experience
- 3-5 years of senior leadership experience
- Demonstrated understanding of nonprofit business operations and market expansion strategies
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team around organizational vision
- Experience in operations, HR and finance are all a plus

- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience establishing smart, relevant goals and relentless drive to meet those goals
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize work

Compensation Details:
- Salary range is $100,000-$110,000 based on experience
- Benefits include health, dental, Simple IRA with a 2% employer contribution and an annual professional development allowance
- Flexible work environment with four weeks paid vacation
