 Position Summary

The Deposit Research Analyst performs a variety of research task to support the back-office deposit operations function of the bank. It is critical that tasks are performed in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with regulatory requirements and department procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Research records and provides documentation in response to subpoenas/court orders/legal request.
2. Processing Escheatment of funds per the different state’s requirements.
3. Complete Verification of Deposit request (paper request, SSA/SSI, Confirmation.com)
4. Handles the Bank’s return mail.
5. Processing daily lock box payments/billing lock box customers monthly.
6. Open/sorting income department mail; prepare outgoing mail.
7. Scanning/verifying deposit account documentation into FCM, if applicable.
8. Research complex problems; assisting branches.
9. Order department supplies
10. Handling the Bank’s Mail Room
    • Preparing Courier Bags
    • Preparing Outgoing Mail
    • Sorting incoming mail for department pickup.
11. Assist in the creation and updating of procedures while routinely looking for ways to improve the process.
12. Works on various types of projects when needed.
13. Adheres to the BSA Policy and all other Bank Policies.
14. Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills) 

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1- year experience in Teller/CSR background requested. 
• Good customer service and communication skills (written/verbal)
• Must be able to handle fast paced environment, with good judgement and exercise discretion.
• Ability to work with a team, as well as independently.
• Proficient with Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
