As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients in scheduling and coordinating their treatment plans. Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments for Dental Treatments
- Communicate treatment plans and financial obligations to patients
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collect and process patient payments
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and answering phone calls
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and address any inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dental office required
- Proficiency in using dental office software systems such as Open Dental
- Knowledge of dental terminology
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a dental office or medical facility is a plus
