- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Take dental x-rays
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring impressions and trimming models
- Schedule patient appointments and manage dental records
```Experience```
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating dental restorations is desirable
- Familiarity with medical records management systems is beneficial
Skills:
- Ability to perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, dentists, and other team members
- Proficient in dental assisting techniques, such as instrument passing, suctioning, and retraction
- Knowledge of dental radiography techniques and ability to take accurate dental x-rays
- Familiarity with medical documentation and maintaining accurate patient records
- Understanding of medical imaging technology used in dentistry
