Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Requirements:
- Must have a joyful and welcoming personality
- Previous experience working in a Dental office or similar administrative role is preferred
- Proficiency in using Dentrix office systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of medical scheduling and terminology is beneficial
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling high call volumes
