Our office is looking for an Insurance Coordinator for our practice. Must have Dental Office Experience.
Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
- Process insurance claims and follow up on any denials or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient insurance information in the system
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any billing or coverage issues
- Assist patients with understanding their insurance benefits and coverage
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering any insurance-related questions or concerns
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting
- Familiarity with dental terminology and coding
- Knowledge of insurance verification processes and treatment planning
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., Eaglesoft)
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
