```Duties```
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide to patients as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health care instructions
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix or other dental practice management systems
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality

- Proficient in taking vital signs and recording medical documentation accurately
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures
- Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management systems
- Ability to maintain organized and detailed medical records

- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions
