Job Overview:

We are seeking a part-time skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. In particular we are looking for someone willing to work 8am-5pm on Wednesdays and 8am-12pm on Fridays, with the opportunity for expand. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings, provide oral hygiene instructions, and assist the dentist during procedures. Our office is focused on providing top quality care and ensuring our team has a low-stress, healthy work-life balance. We offer 1-hr appointments and strive for thorough care over volume. Duties:

- Perform dental cleanings and remove plaque and tartar from patients' teeth

- Conduct thorough oral examinations to identify any signs of dental diseases or abnormalities

- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed

- Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride treatments

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions

- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and taking notes

- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories

- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff

Requirements:

- Valid Dental Hygiene license in Minnesota
