Dentistry on the Ponds is a privately owned rapidly growing, high-end dental practice in need of a motivated and team-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our solo-doctor practice. Our office is equipped with the latest technology, including digital radiography, intraoral cameras, CBCT, Infrared caries detection, and laser-assisted dental hygiene, providing our hygienists with the tools they need to work to the top of their license. As the owner of our practice, Dr. Mehta believes in co-diagnosis with his hygienists and empowers them to work to the top of their license. Our Dental Hygienists play an essential role in our team and are valued for their contributions to the practice.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct oral health assessments and create treatment plans
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning
- Take digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and CBCT scans
- Use Infrared caries detection to identify cavities in their early stages
- Utilize laser-assisted dental hygiene to offer a minimally invasive and comfortable cleaning experience for our patients
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and disease prevention
- Work with our dental team to ensure a positive patient experience
- Collaborate with Dr. Mehta and the dental team to co-diagnose treatment plans and provide comprehensive care to our patients
Requirements:
- Active Dental Hygiene license in the state of Minnesota
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
- Experience working as a Dental Hygienist preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to educate patients

The office hours are kid-friendly and provide a good work-life balance. We are open from 8 am to 5 pm on Monday and Tuesday, and 7 am to 4 pm on Wednesday and Thursday. The position is full-time.
