Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients
- Answer phones/return calls
- Set patient appointments
- Create and maintain efficient schedules
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure an enjoyable and efficient experience for the patient
- Update patient contact information
- Verify insurances
- Process claims
- Submit authorizations for insurance approval
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong organizational skills (a must)
- Strong interpersonal skills with patients and team members
- Effectively prioritize and multitask
- Attention to detail
- Proficient using phone systems, computers, and dental software
- Front office experience preferred, but not necessary
- Previous experience in a dental office preferred
