We have 2 locations, both are 1 doctor/1 hygienist practices. Our hours are Monday thru Thursday, 8-5. In this role, you would work 2 days at each location with the future possibility to remain in 1 location.
Our main goal is to work as a team to provide the best possible care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of dentist's time and availability.
- Manage and update patient records, including treatment plans, medical history, and insurance information.
- Explain treatment plans, procedures, and associated costs to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Verify patient insurance coverage.
- Follow up with patients to schedule recommended treatments and hygiene appointments.
Skills:
- Proven experience working in a dental office
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with the dental team.
- Proficient in using dental software and systems for scheduling, recordkeeping, and insurance coordination. Eaglesoft a plus!
- Knowledge of dental insurance plans, reimbursement processes, and dental billing procedures.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing patient records and financial information.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
