Job Description
PURPOSE: Position delivers merchandise to customers safely, promptly and with a focus on customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review direct route driver’s log and verify that product pulled for delivery is accurate.
Load items into truck ensuring that items will not be damaged in transit and those items are arranged according to delivery route.
Perform maintenance check of the delivery vehicle and Complete Fleet Condition Report and Drivers Log before beginning route.
Scan and replenish inventory for all Inventory Solutions cabinets.
Safely and with courtesy drive to customer locations and deliver products.
During any route verify that a company phone is in the vehicle along with a phone charger.
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in other areas of warehouse as needed or as directed by Warehouse Management.
Fills pick tickets and ensure that any special transactions are handled according to ISO guidelines.
Keep Warehouse clean of debris and work hazards.
Comply with all company policies and safety procedures.
When applicable maintain customer’s storeroom by using SX to Go.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be computer literate and have the manual dexterity to perform data entry quickly and accurately.
Must be able to use company computer system and appropriate software such as Trend and GUI.
Must be able to navigate and use Direct Route phones in addition to being able to read a map and/or use a GPS in addition to having the ability to follow directions to specific locations.
Forklift certification. (Certification may be acquired after hire)
Education: Minimum Level: High School Diploma.
Experience: Minimum Amount: One to three years in similar capacity.
Must maintain a valid North Carolina Drivers License with no major traffic violations within the last three years.
Position works in warehouse areas and driving throughout the day. This requires mobility and the flexibility to get in and out of a vehicle many times throughout the day. Position stands, walk, bends and stoops throughout the day. Position routinely lifts items as heavy as 50lbs.
