Job Summary:
The takeout or to-go Delivery Driver is responsible for restaurant takeout delivery and foodservice operations.
What you will do:
- Delivers amazing hospitality experience to guests anticipating, delivering, and exceeding guests’ expectations.
- Loads/unloads food in personal vehicle with safety-based, service-oriented accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Guides guests while taking, placing, and reviewing orders for takeout and catering.
- When not on a delivery, perform basic takeout duties, additional side work and cleaning duties at the restaurant as needed.
What you need to have:
- Previous experience is not required – we will train you!
- Excellent customer service skills and etiquette
- At least 18 years old with your own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
- Able to pass company criteria for delivery to include motor vehicle inspections and driving record standards
- Ability to read a map or navigate various routes
- Must possess a current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable, or must be able to obtain card
- Must be able to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects weighing up to 30 lbs. repeatedly during a shift
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-work environment
