We are recruiting a Delivery Technician to join our team of health care professionals. As a Delivery Technician, you will be responsible for delivery of medical products to patients of the pharmacy.
Job type: Full-time
Pay range: $17.95-$22.44 per hour, depending on experience.

Position responsibilities:

1. Represent the pharmacy in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with patients.
2. Deliver medical products to patient's home.
3. Record any patient concerns and complaints, and forward to supervisor for action.
4. Complete delivery documentation and ensure that all information is accurate and complete.
5. Perform cleaning and simple maintenance of delivery vehicle.
6. Help monitor inventory levels to ensure timely deliveries; maintain lot number tracking; comply with recalls.
7. Report product incidents in compliance with pharmacy policy.
8. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
9. Participate in the pharmacy’s Performance Improvement program as requested by the Performance Improvement Coordinator.
10. Participate in pharmacy committees when requested.
11. Participate in in-service education programs provided by the pharmacy.
12. Assist with receiving of deliveries.
13. Assist with preparing, packaging, and shipping medical products.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required skills:

1. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for the past three years.
2. Ability to navigate electronic mapping systems for efficient deliveries.
3. Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.
4. Ability to evaluate options and to make efficient decisions.
5. Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
