Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate delivery box truck following strict safety standards on and off the road.
- Use provided hand held device for routing and customer delivery information.
- Independently or in teams, deliver packages for Amazon to houses, mobile parks, apartments, and businesses.
- Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
- Load and unload packages to be delivered.
- Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
- Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers.
- Be able to work shifts ranging between 8-10 hours per day starting as early as 4:15 - 8:00AM and shifts are available 7 days per week.
- Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
- Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- A single Delivery Associate needs to be able to maneuver packages up to 75 pounds each using material handling equipment (MHE) and with a team of Delivery Associates (driver + helper) able to move items up to 300 pounds each using MHE.
- Able to get in and out of truck and walk up and down several flights of stairs.

Basic Requirements:
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- At least 21 years of age for drivers.
- Proficient in English sufficient to meet US DOT standard of ability to read road signs, communicate with regulatory personnel, and pass DOT qualification training class.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Drivers must be able to obtain DOT medical card and qualify as DOT Regulated driver operating 16-foot and 24-foot box trucks (GVWR between 10,000 to 26,000 lbs.).
- Box truck experience preferred
