Draeger's Supermarkets, Inc/Fog City Foods is seeking a Full-time Deli Kitchen Cook immediately. This is at our South San Francisco location in our deli production kitchen.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in the production kitchen or as a line cook. This position reports to the Deli Kitchen Manager and Plant Superintendent.
Work Schedule:
4:00 am - 12:30 pm or 1:00 pm
Days and times may vary depending on company needs.
Deli Cook Principal Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following but not limited to):
- Packaging food items per list
- Food Prepping
- Assist in shipping of all Deli foods.
- Prepare items on station assignment list.
- Order fulfillment
- Stock and rotate products, stock supplies and other related items in a timely basis.
- Ability to cook small batches of food.
Deli Cook Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to lift, push and pull carts weighing 50+ lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to work.
- Knowledgeable on Lean Kitchen practices
- Able to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skill and ability to communicate effectively with customers, other team members and leadership.
- Familiarity with SG System is a plus.
- Able to communicate, read and comprehend instructions in English.
- Neat and clean in appearance.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and organized work area.
- Able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays.
