ITE Management, a leading investment manager and private equity firm specializing in the acquisition of transportation equipment and asset operating platforms in the infrastructure sector, is seeking a Vice President to join their Debt Capital Markets team in New York. Founded in 2014, ITE targets real asset investment opportunities that are cash yielding with downside protection, and benefit from a team with deep, longstanding relationships and financial and operating expertise. Today, the firm manages over $9bn of assets globally across rail, intermodal, aviation, and emerging technology strategies with office locations in NYC, Chicago and St. Louis.

Responsibilities:

· Control processes and transactions related to new financings, refinancings, and strategic M&A opportunities.

· Lead workstreams with lenders, institutional investors, external counsel, and advisers.

· Manage a dynamic group of financing counterparties across North America and Europe.

· Manage and train junior colleagues on the Debt Capital Markets team and co-manage analysts and associates from tangential teams such as Risk, Investments, and BDIR.

· Oversee the day-to-day capital structure portfolio to ensure ongoing compliance with lending requirements and efficiency of leverage.· Managing the Debt Capital Markets process for the fund’s investment strategies– including negotiating and executing financing transactions in the secured and unsecured Debt Capital Markets vis-a-vis revolving credit facilities, term loans, private placements, and issuances within the public Capital Markets.

· Coordinating closely with the asset and investment teams on execution processes for new investments.

· Curating interest rate hedging products with the risk management team.

· Managing third party advisors, including lending relationships, servicing partners, rating agencies, accountants, etc.

· Preparing internal materials, including Investment Memorandums and transaction analyses for presentations to Investment Committee and other stakeholders.

· Monitoring the existing financing positions, while also identifying and executing on future financing needs to help create the most efficient financing platform possible.

Requirements

· 5+ years of investment banking, investment firm or fund experience is required.·

Structured Finance, Debt Capital Markets, or Leverage Finance experience is required.

· A strong understanding of secured financing products, including bank term loans, ABLs, ABS, revolving loans, and derivative products is required.

· Experience with all aspects of a lending transaction from initial negotiations with counterparties, structuring, documentation, closing, and onboarding is required.

· Experience with rating agencies and their respective methodologies is required.

· An understanding of unsecured financings and corporate issuances in the public and private markets is preferred.

· Familiarity with transportation and infrastructure assets or general leasing is preferred.

· Thorough understanding of the financial statements, financial modeling, and general financial calculations is required.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint skills is required.

· Demonstrated ability to manage junior team members, lead workstreams, and proactively drive processes.

· Highly organized, proactive, and able to grasp and adapt to complex concepts.

· Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

· Extremely detail oriented and organized in approach.

· Proactive in seeking out ways to add additional value beyond the core responsibilities of the role.

· Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.

· Ability to manage a process from start to finish with true ownership in areas that might be new to both the individual and even the firm.

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

· Tenacious and persistent with a willingness to go the extra mile to support the team and Firm.

Salary Range:

Estimated base salary range for this position is: $160,000-$200,000. Employees may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
