Job Description
Key Auto Group is in need of a Vice President of Operations for its Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram locations. This role will be stationed at one of the CDJR locations but will require frequent travel from one location to another.
The Vice President of Operations provides operational guidance and support to the OEM and multiple CDJR stores within the Key Auto Group. The role is meant to ensure the customer experience and manufacturer requirements are met at each Key Auto Group CDJR location.
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure consistency in staffing, pay plans, hours, process, and customer satisfaction at each location.
- Actively recruit, hire, and train staff to Key Auto Group CDJR standards
- Develop and implement internal controls for CDJR stores in conjunction with CEO
- Engage with OEM on manufacturer buy/sell agreement
- Work with New Inventory manager on new car ordering, incentives, and marketing plan
- Ensure Variable MSR is met at each CDJR location
- Direct Inventory within the CDJR line to the appropriate location and ensure turn above zone at all stores
- Attend Dealer meetings on behalf of Key Auto Group
- Provide High-level OEM summary to CEO
- Attend new store openings and implementations
- Assist in Facility compliance upgrades and construction requirements
Daily Job Functions
- Reviews Sales Data and CSI data at each location
- Train staff on process shortcomings
- Report on monthly marketing plans
- Report on internal KPIs
- Work with CDJR fixed director
- Build strong working relationships with other employees through communication and being team-oriented
- Speak clearly and effectively to co-workers
- Identify and support opportunities for process improvement
- Create and achieve annual proforma

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Executive level leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to implement change, hire, and recruit a team
- Ability to analyze and articulate opportunities through financial statement review
- Ability to take direction from CEO
- Consistent and solid work history
- Minimum Bachelor of Science preferred
- Prefer significant CDJR experience and proficiency
