Dealership Assistant Service Manager Responsibilities:
- Distribute service work and coordinate activity in the Service department
- Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
- Generate all internal repair orders and be the primary point of contact for used car inspections
- Reinforce company policies and adhere to company standards.
- Maintain good working relationship and foster positive employee relations.
- Strive for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments
- Understand and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
- Other administrative duties as required
Dealership Assistant Service Manager Qualifications:
- Previous experience in service writing or management, preferably in a dealership setting
- Strong knowledge of automotive service
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
