Job Duties
- Undertakes general warehouse duties
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Flexible schedule to meet training requirements across all shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently without assistance.
- Ability to stand sit or walk for extended periods of time (8-12 hours per day)
- Material handling equipment experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to excel in fast-paced environment.
- Conduct and facilitate on-the -job training programs for Ferguson DC associates, both new hires and existing
- Knowledge and ability to explain labor management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Provide feedback to new and current associates on safety requirements and performance within the warehouse.
- Completes one-on-one training of job specific warehouse operations and WMS processes with new and existing associates.
- Audits the work of all associates for adherence to training standards and SOPs
- Meets regularly with department leaders to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Ensures proper tracking of training status for each associate new and existing.
- Audits training processes for each department to ensure consistency to SOPs.
- Is responsible for all Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training (to include reach truck, man-up/order picker, dock stocker, electric pallet jack, etc.) in the warehouse including initial certification, recertification and accident retraining's.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to new associates.
- Consistently adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Other duties as assigned.
Pay Range:
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
