Job description

This is a remote position.

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE:

The purpose of the Retirement Plan Analyst (DC) position is to assist the Operations department in the completion and reviewing of all required administration and compliance within a timely manner.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


This will include, but not be limited to, the following activities:


Corporate Responsibilities


  • Support, complement, lead and influence Trinity’s entire corporate philosophy, including but not limited to the following:

General Responsibilities


  • Provide technical support to Operations team, Relationship Managers, Sales Team, Plan Sponsors and Financial Advisors.
  • Assist in the completion and review of core administration and compliance testing, including, but not limited to:
  • o Discrimination Testing


    o 5500 Reporting


    o Profit Sharing Allocations


    o Document Updates


    o Client Reports


    o Year End Data and Reconciliation


    o Participant Statements


    o Valuations


    o Supplementary PPA Statements


    o Vesting Calculations


    o Employer Contribution Calculations


    o Annual Required Participant Notices

    • Collaborate with other departments in delivering Trinity’s reports and anticipating the Plan Sponsor’s questions.
    • Provide cross-department support as needed.
    • Assist in special projects and training as assigned.
    • Follow policies and procedures.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • Requirements

      QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:


      · Associate degree required or equivalent work experience within the Retirement Plan industry.
      • Accounting or financial background preferred.
      • ASPPA QKA designation required, or willing to attain, and progress toward the required designations.
      • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
      • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to appropriately communicate with all levels of internal and external customers.
      • Ability to organize work, establish priorities, work within deadlines, and maintain good interpersonal relations.
      • Demonstrated and excellent attention to detail.
      • Highly motivated self-starter with good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and lead a team.
      • Team player and great attitude a must.
      • Strong mathematical skills.
      • Regular attendance at work.
      • Minimum of 40 work hours per week.
