Adora Care, a renowned non-medical assisted living facility in Redlands, is urgently hiring for a full-time Caregiver Night Shift to join our extended family. Position Overview:
As a Caregiver Night Shift, you will play a crucial role in assisting with daily living skills, meal preparation, and maintaining open communication with families and healthcare professionals regarding clients' medical and emotional conditions. Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license in good standing and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
• Successful clearance of background checks, health, and TB clearance
• Ability to lift 55 lbs
• AID/CPR Certificate
• Must be fully Covid-19 vaccinated
• Excellent English communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living skills, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Support residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and/or bathing
• Maintain open communication with families and health care professionals
• Document and report any changes in the client's medical and emotional condition
• Ensure the highest client safety and well-being
• Provide guidance on developmental goals for community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities
• Assist with ambulation and mobility
• Redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Skills:

• Proven experience as a caregiver
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Adherence to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• Physical endurance

Schedule:

• Full-time position
• 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week. Rotation days
• Evening and night shifts
• Weekend and holiday availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
