Senior Production Support Analyst for a global data warehouse platform to support evolving regulatory needs
Key Responsibilities:
Production Support Analyst responsibilities involve pursuing Level 3 capabilities to ensure timely resolution of Production Support issues and partnering with the team to mature the operating model.
Candidate is expected to exude a take-charge attitude towards problems and thrive for excellence. This is a hands-on, delivery focused role.
Specific activities include:
Global L3 support to resolve Production Support issues in a timely manner
Serve as senior contact for Production Support issues and escalations
Train L1, L2 resources to be more effective in handling support issues before L3 needs to get involved
Manage projects necessary to mature the Production Support operating model for example, formalize SLAs, strengthen incident management communication and processes, etc.
Experience and Skills Required/Desired:
Ability to work both independently and as a team leader to drive delivery in a timely and effective manner
Ability to synthesize, prioritize and resolve Production Support issues
Ability to identify issues, recognize root causes and take appropriate action or recommend possible scenarios to solve problems
Ability to partner with TS, application development teams (including upstream systems) to resolve Production Support issues and strengthen capabilities
Ability to develop and manage all aspects of the Production Support effort, including plans, interdependencies, schedule, budget, tools, and required personnel
Prior experience with managing Production Support process
Prior experience working on a data warehouse platform
7+ years of experience in an Oracle/Informatica environment with knowledge of views, packages, stored procedures, functions, constraints, cursors, indexes, table partitions
7+ years of experience with an ETL tool such as Informatica
Strong background in data warehouse, data management and data analytics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Smart, intellectually curious; Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
Detail oriented; Analytical with problem solving abilities
Professional and energetic
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment under tight timeframes
Proven track record working within an Investment Banking Financial data related environment
