Job Title:Database Administrator
Reports to: Sr Vice President/CFO
Classification: Exempt

General Scope: The Database Administrator is responsible for evaluation, design, development, maintenance, and efficiency of multiple databases within the company. Development and ongoing maintenance of database tools are utilized in multiple areas. Therefore, ability to understand processes in various departments is a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and/or design and develop database tools based on end users’ needs
- Maintain, upgrade, and manage database applications
- Troubleshoot and diagnose database errors/issues
- Develop processes for optimizing database security
- Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques for backup data
- Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
- Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to end user’s
- Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
- Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
- Create and manage dataset reports, visualizations, and dashboards
- Review and manage data security, integrity and backup procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3 years’ experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
- Prior experience in team management and leadership positions a plus, but not required
- THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE AT WILLISTON LOCATION
Needed Skills:
· Full stack development
Backend – SQL Server, C#, ASP.NET/Blazor Server, JavaScript, Rest API for future projects
Frontend – HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
· Experience with SSRS, PowerBI a plus
