Job Description
Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a Database Administration with proven expertise in a technical field, demonstrating proficiency in cybersecurity, SIGINT, systems engineering, telecommunications, data management, data processing, and/or data engineering. As a Database Administration, you will be responsible for implementing registry updates, configuring Niagara Files (NiFi) processor/processor groups, and managing NiFi clusters. Your role will involve routing, transforming, and enriching ad-hoc dataflows, as well as reverse engineering customer dataflows for troubleshooting purposes.
Duties
- Manage NiFi clusters, configure Niagara Files, and implement updates
- Handle ad-hoc dataflows, troubleshoot customer dataflows, and offer data management advice. Ensure compliance with governance, security policies, and utilize Kibana and Elasticsearch
- Write Bash/Python scripts for automation, demonstrate proficiency in Python/Java
- Understand J-Codes' analytical challenges. Utilize Ubuntu/Linux for SSH, navigation, and troubleshooting. Work with various data formats and troubleshoot technical issues
- Familiarity with FileZilla, Pressurewave, and Atlassian Tool Suite. Adhere to corporate security, compliance procedures, and System Engineering principles
Qualifications
Required education and experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in data flow/management and a minimum of 5 years in IT systems engineering and/or administration
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline
- Any of the following qualifying DoD 8570 IAT Level II certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP
Required Clearance
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
