Oracle Ebs Database Administrator

Responsibilities

· Provide Oracle EBS ERP DBA functional/technical consulting services by acting as subject matter expert and assist clients through the implementation lifecycle for Oracle EBS projects

· Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring

the security and integrity of the organization’s databases.

· Implements complex data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance

· Installs EBS related products if needed

· Participates in the design of programs to include policies, standards, guidelines, training programs, and a viable quality assurance process for disaster recover of the

organization’s databases.

· Defines, designs, builds, and maintains complex dimensional databases

· Reviews object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access.

· Aids in investigation, planning, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of disaster recovery plans.

· Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems after review of the EBS environments

· Monitor environments and proactively address any concerns

· Maintain backups on all EBS test and production instances

· Perform database refreshes (production to test)

· Migrate code changes from test instances to production upon request

· Develop reports, interfaces, etc. based on existing client requirements

· Assist client in preparing validation scripts, testing scenarios and develop test scripts for Oracle ERP (Finance) Cloud Fusion projects

· Support clients with the execution of test scripts

· Interact with the project team members responsible for developing reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions

· Provide status and issue reports to the project manager/client on a regular basis

Required Qualifications

· Minimum of five years experience performing DBA activities on Oracle EBS 12.1.X and above

· Hands-on experience working with APEX and related applications

· Upgrade and implementation experience for oracle databases AND EBS

· Ability to work on all project phases including, but not limited to, Configuration, Testing, and Production Support

Preferred Qualifications

· Hands on experience with the EBS 12.1.3 database and applications

· Effectively manages scope and customer expectations on individual assignments

· Follows through on all assignments and takes ownership of client issues

· Communicates clearly and effectively with clients and project managers

· Consistently produces clear, concise status reports

· Displays effective analytical skills

· Effectively communicate and drive project deliverables for Oracle ERP (Finance) Cloud Fusion modules

· Experience with Oracle Fusion system administration and support a plus

· Experience with building out archival solutions a plus

This developer must be able to participate/participate in the Baltimore City Public Schools background check process and be able to work on-site at least 1 day per week.

Candidate must be a US citizen or Green card holder.

This is a temp position. The duration is 18 months with possible extensions after that.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
