We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Warehouse/ETL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse and ETL processes. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and accessibility of our organization's data. The role is a full-time position based in Austin, TX. Candidates must be local to Austin or willing to independently relocate. Hybrid office work environment with minimum three days in-office a week required.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to extract data from various source systems, transform it to meet business requirements, and load it into the data warehouse.
• Troubleshoot automated system problems and issues encountered by users relating to populating data fields and data reporting.
• Perform data reconciliation and validation from various sources.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Integrate data from external sources through APIs and webhooks, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build a robust data warehouse that can efficiently store and organize large volumes of data.
• Create and maintain data models, schemas, and structures for the data warehouse to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Utilize Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, and Data Factory for data storage, management, and orchestration of ETL workflows.
• Continuously monitor and optimize ETL processes and data warehouse performance to ensure efficient data processing and reporting.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes, data models, and data lineage to support data governance and compliance efforts.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
• Investigate and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to data operations.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in ETL development using tools like Azure Data Factory, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.
• Experience with Azure or other cloud computing technologies
• Familiarity with MS SQL Server data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and best practices.
• Experience with data integration using APIs and webhooks.
• Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team oriented, fast paced environment.

• 5+ years of experience supporting databases and applications preferred.
