Job Description Summary:
Position Overview
The Coca-Cola's Summer Internship program is an 8-10 week experience at our headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The Industrial Engineering Intern will be part of our Warehouse Transformation team supporting Commercial Product Supply within the Coca-Cola system. The role will work closely with our operations team to identify, analyze, and improve existing systems and processes in our warehouses. As opportunities are defined, the intern will codify and develop a standardized toolkit to serve as guide for implementation for future sites to scale across our network. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in process improvement, project management, and Industrial Engineering.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze data collected from operations, identifying trends, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Supply Chain, Logistics, and Operations, to ensure the successful implementation of process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to understand operational challenges and propose innovative solutions.
  • Assist in the implementation of new technologies and systems to enhance warehouse functionality.
  • Develop and maintain new process documentation to ensure future standardization.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Supply Chain, Logistics, and Operations, to ensure the successful implementation of process improvements.
  • Formulate a comprehensive toolkit that includes guidelines, techniques and methodologies for optimized processes.

Education Requirements
Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and not graduating before December 2024.
Compensation
$5026 per month
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
