JOB SUMMARY


The Data Entry clerk is responsible for performing general warehouse and distribution functions that include but not limited to maintaining documents that pertain to shipping, inventory control, cycle counting, quality control, returns.

This is not 100% desk job and will require time on shop/warehouse floor.

Will categorize information into spreadsheets, databases, and other applicable systems.

Strong personal computer skills including MS Excel and Word. Must know formulas and pivot tables.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Manage receipts, storage, usage, returns and re-supply of consumables and capital items locally and for remote locations.

Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to spot errors with accuracy and efficiency.

Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and promote a safe work environment.

Ability to carry out receiving function for materials delivered and unpack and incorporate into inventory.

Arrange Materials Transfers for movement of inventory.

Update the Inventory System daily with Added/Removed items, manage all transactions and make sure the system is accurate at all times.

Other responsibilities include data analysis, data auditing, confirming data matches clientele documentation, confirm customer payment status and various vendor management tasks.

Maintain inventory accurately.

Monitor On Hand quantities against approved MIN and MAX.

Be informed and enforce all PSC Warehouse Policies and Procedures.

Print pick list, pull, package and ship orders in accordance with good shipping practices.

Update and track shipments.

Other duties as required by supervisor.

Follow all safety processes and procedures.

Clean and organize warehouse area.


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS


  • 1-3 years’ work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility, experience with RF scanners and
  • Valid Driver's License.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Data Entry Experience
  • 2 years' experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, procurement or related field or Data Entry clerk
  • Basic understanding of drilling rig equipment

Demonstrates comprehensive computer skills to include excel, word Data entry utilizing Excel, outlook and Microsoft Office suite programs.

Develops familiarity with Visual Manufacturing and D365 systems,

Follows oral and written instructions.

Stocks, move, arrange product utilizing, forklifts, hand trucks.

Receives, ships, stores and issues location assignments to material, supplies and equipment

Conducts inventory cycle counts.

Communicates to management discrepancies with counts and product.

Completes shortage and overage reports.

Prepares shipping documentation.

Time Management



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS


Ability to withstand physical demands of repetitively lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds.

Ability to perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Attention span to stay alert and attentive for up to 8-hour shift while performing sometimes repetitive and monotonous.
