Summary: The Alcott Center for Mental Health Services, a nonprofit community mental health agency, is seeking an organized, motivated, and professional full-time Data Specialist. The Data Specialist is responsible for working with the Quality Assurance (QA) Director to maintain and extract data for all programs at the Alcott Center using Electronic Health Record data and reports from funders. The role supports in quality improvement projects, including consumer survey implementation and analysis. This position helps to ensure quality standards and integrity of services are maintained for all programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creates customized reports to support program needs.
- Supports with any technical and reporting needs for programs.
- Conducts internal audits to identify and rectify data discrepancies.
- Monitors database maintenance, ensuring accurate client records are maintained while ensuring compliance with internal standards.
- Develops and monitors data quality metrics.
- Identifies and makes recommendations regarding opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborates with Development department to identify populations served and other metrics as needed for grants and fundraising opportunities.
- Coordinates consumer satisfaction survey development, preparation, and analysis.
- Performs additional performance improvement or special projects as directed by Quality Assurance Director.
Language Skills:
Ability to effectively present information to others, both verbally and in writing.
Computer Skills:
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Skilled in data analysis and interpretation.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must pass background check.

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hour per week position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
