Position Overview
The Data Scientist will analyze large amounts of raw information to find patterns that will help improve our company’s business operations. We will rely on this position to build data products to extract valuable business insights. In this role, a person should be highly analytical with a knack for analysis, math, and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data. We also want to see a passion for machine learning and Artificial Intelligence. The goal will be to help our company analyze trends to make better decisions
Job Description
- Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
- Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
- Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.
- Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
- Combine models through ensemble modeling.
- Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.
- Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in the development/implementation of master data management strategies and implementation.
- Apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyze data and make predictions.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization, including marketing, product, finance, and engineering, to address specific business challenges.
- Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience including proven experience as a Data Scientist
- 5 years’ experience with Databricks Lakehouse Platform
- Experience in data mining.
- Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBi)
- Working experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)
- Knowledge of R, SQL, and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java, or C#.
- Experience with Agile framework & processes.
- Hands on experience on unified data analytics platform with Azure Databricks, Databricks Workspace user interface, managing Notebooks, Delta Lake with Python.
- Experience in a health care related business is a plus.
